myID began as a redesign for ID's online class registration tool. After a few weeks of talking with potential users it became clear that there is a huge opportunity for a tool that integrates course registration with time management applications. Our primary research also showed that for a tool to really achieve this integration it would have to bridge digital and analog activities since (this being a design school) many students rely heavily on notes and sketches to organize their lives. And since this work was done for Professor Kumar's Data Visualization workshop, all of this had to be done in a visually intuitive way.
